OSHIRO's CC01 Chiavari Chair is a revisitaton of the Campanino, the iconic Chiavari chair bearing the nickname of cabinetmaker Giuseppe Gaetano Descalzi. Compared to the original version, the CC01 Chiavari Chair by OSHIRO has been re-proportoned for less formal postures and larger builds. The seat is wider and the armrests are lower, made to ft under the table and reinforce an already solid structure, which has been further simplifed by eliminatng a rung between the legs. The backrest has been updated in height and in the shape of the outer curve, no longer oval but semicircular, to drape the fgure with an even simpler line. All embellishments and turnings have been eliminated from the structure for the sake of contact with the naked smoothness of the wood.
