In his artistic production, Marcantonio deals with a constant thematic: the relationship between man and nature.
In the work “Gorilla su Cattedra” the nature powerfully shows itself in the instinct of the animal that, climbed onto the desk, dominates the rationality and the rigour the cattedra represent.
Ceramic, resin, wood and bronze, in Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba’s works, are covered in white, clean, allowing meaning to the figure. The subjects represented seem to have stopped along with time, almost as if they were snapshots of his ideas; maybe observing us, definitely speaking to us.
Irony is a serious matter for Raimondi Malerba, it’s the code on which he structures his grammar.

For over 10 years Marcantonio Raimondi Malerba worked for private or local public realizes. Connections between Man and Nature are his favourite theme; interpreting both dynamics and beauties of nature; showing the Man's attitude affecting the original. He loves thinking about his work as a direct continuation of what he used to do when he was a child, playing with everything he finds, and create what his mind imagined.View designer’s page
